Nepal Economic Forum (NEF) provides managerial, financial and research services while acting as an information hub for all issues related to the Nepal economy. It also acts as an economic lobby group to draft and enact policy reforms to ensure a healthy business climate. Towards this goal, NEF is committed to providing a common platform for industry leaders to debate and address critical social, political and economic agendas. In the long run, NEF sees itself as the umbrella organization for public, private and development organizations operating in Nepal.

We establish ourselves as the premiere research centre on economic issues for both the public and private sector. We work towards collecting and disseminating information related to the economy of Nepal with the objective of increasing public awareness. One of our core areas of activity is to provide management and financial services to the development sector. NEF creates a strong platform for dialogue and interaction on key economic and development issues between multiple sectors for engagement in the larger policy debates. It is also a network platform for individual and organizations to establish linkages and partnerships.

NEF's primary focus is to facilitate the work of its implementing partners by helping them setup models that are sustainable and scalable. We will mostly contribute to the projects by providing managerial and logistical support rather than being involved in the implementation part of the assignments. It is important to distinguish that NEF is not an implementing organization in any activity other than its role as an information hub and umbrella association. As an information hub it collects and disseminates information related to the economy of Nepal and as an umbrella association, it functions as a networking platform between the development sector and the private sector. 

Operating as a wing of Beed Management Pvt. Ltd., NEF has the advantage of a business consulting background along with a broad network of private businesses, donor agencies and media houses. It also brings with it the professionalism and efficiency of the private sector to the development sector. NEF's mission is to continuously work for inclusive growth and economic empowerment of people.
